Join our reading team! We're coming up to the
starting line of our summer reading program Get in the Game, Read! When you
become a member of our team we'll send you a book bag filled with all you need
to succeed. Our booklists will be filled with sports, action and adventure of
all kinds. Keep score of your progress and send us book reports or weekly
reading journals and we'll send you prizes!
The rules for the game are very simple. Choose something to read. Let us know
about what you read by sending in a book report or by telling us when you were
reading with a reading journal. You can tell us all about it by mailing in your
report/journal, or calling us at 1-800-227-0625 or
you can email to us at:
vovinfo@dupagels.lib.il.us.
For every 2 reading journals or book reports you send, call, or email you'll
receive a prize, up to a total of five prizes. The five prizes will be one of
the following: "READ" dog tag necklace, Hyper Flyer, Gel Wristband, Maze Pen or
Library Card Holder with key ring. And just for playing the game by reading a
book or sending in a report you'll be entered into a drawing for one of our
great special prizes. There will also be special prizes for those that read the
most. Our special prizes include: Baseball Hats, Baseball Jerseys, T-Shirts, and
Thumb Wrestling Toys.
Our coaches (Readers' Advisors) are anxious to begin the game. We hope that you
will join in the fun!
