Registering your classroom for service

To begin service we must receive an application for the teacher's current classroom. Complete an orange institutional application (form may be downloaded from this site) to begin classroom service. Multiple teachers within the same institution should apply separately.

• One audio player (along with audio and braille books) will be loaned directly to any teacher serving qualifying students. These materials must be used only with print-impaired students.
   
• The teacher is responsible for the player and books on loan to the classroom.
   
• If the teacher is no longer assigned to the registered classroom all materials on loan to that teacher for use in his or her classroom must be returned.
   
• Each teacher must annually complete all correspondence forms and list any students signed up as individuals at home and/or at school. A teacher must be serving at least one registered student, or the classroom account will be canceled.
   
• To remain registered with the program a teacher must actively borrow materials from the Talking Book Center. If no materials are borrowed, the audio player on loan to the teacher must be returned and service will be canceled.
